Vivo Music Studio is a Music School based in Bawtry (Doncaster) offering lessons in Singing, Saxophone, Violin, and Piano, available face-to-face in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, and North East Lincolnshire.
Founded in 2006 by professional Mezzo-Soprano Kamilla Dunstan, Vivo Music Studio is dedicated to providing personalised, high quality music tuition in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner, someone looking to improve your technique, or an aspiring professional, our team of experienced teachers is here to help you achieve your musical goals.
Our passionate teachers have extensive experience in both teaching and performance, which allows them to tailor lessons to each student's individual needs and interests. Whether you want to learn for fun, prepare for exams, or pursue a career in music, we focus on creating an enjoyable experience while helping you develop solid technical skills and confidence.
At the same time, many students also take lessons for personal enjoyment, improving their playing or singing while gaining valuable techniques in a friendly and stress-free setting. Regardless of your goals, our teachers support you every step of the way to ensure you feel confident and motivated.
Our students have also excelled in national competitions, including the David Clover Festival of Singing (Sheffield), Mrs Sunderland Festival (Huddersfield), and Worksop Music & Drama Festival, as well as taking part in respected external exams such as ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall, and London College of Music.
Each year, we hold concerts where students perform with a professional pianist, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their progress in a fun, supportive environment. These events are designed to encourage students to take risks, explore new techniques, and, most importantly, enjoy the process of learning and performing.
All lessons are one-to-one, available in-person or online, and all teachers hold Enhanced DBS Certificates.

Kamilla Dunstan
Kamilla was born in Yorkshire and later emigrated to New Zealand before returning to the UK. Kamilla studied at the Royal College of Music International Opera School, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Guildhall School of Music
& Drama. Kamilla studies with Soprano, Claire Rutter.
Kamilla made her Royal Opera House debut as Ramise (Arminio, Handel) and covered the role of the Komponist in Opera North's production of Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss) in 2023.
Kamilla has also covered the Singer in the Royal Ballet’s new production of Like Water for Chocolate by Joby Talbot in the summer of 2022.
In November 2021 she made her English National Opera debut as Waltraute in Richard Jones's new production of
The Valkyrie (Wagner) and sang Second Lady in Glyndebourne’s semi-staged production of The Magic Flute in December 2020.

Preziosilla (La Forza del destino, Verdi- Regents Opera), Suzy/Lolette (La Rondine- West Green Opera House), Ariodante and Faramondo (London Handel Festival), Fanny Price (Mansfield Park, Jonathan Dove- Opera South), Dorabella (Cosí fan tutte, in English- Clonter Opera), Naomi (Ruth- Philip Hageman- Pegasus Opera) and at the Royal College of Music International Opera School, Ramiro (La finta giardiniera), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) and Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus).
In 2019 Kamilla covered the lead, Eurydice Woman in English National Opera's production of Birtwistle's opera The Mask of Orpheus and covered Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte at the Glyndebourne Festival. Kamilla was also an Alvarez Young Artist in 2017 and covered the role of Zaida in Garsington Opera’s production of Il turco in Italia (Rossini).
Concerts include Floßhilde in Das Rheingold with the Birmingham Philharmonic at the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Vaughan Williams’s Serenade to Music with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, also broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and a soloist in Te Deum & Jubilate (Handel) with the English Chamber Orchestra at St Paul’s Cathedral as part of the City of London Festival.
A 2nd Place winner at the Lyra New York International Vocal Competition (2021) and a finalist for the Maureen Lehane Singing Competition at Wigmore Hall (2018).
Kamilla was a Polonsky Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival & School (USA), a Wagner Stipendien at the 2015 Bayreuth
Festspiele and a Samling Artist in 2014.
Kamilla was an ABRSM Scholar and was kindly supported by a Help Musician’s Tutton Opera Award and the Josephine Baker Trust.

Harriet Williamson
Harriet is a saxophonist and violinist, having studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under Naomi Sullivan.
Harriet has been teaching students of all ages in various capacities for almost 20 years.
Harriet has a responsive teaching style, adapting to the individual needs of the student and has experience working with individuals with additional needs.
Harriet plays across many genres including classical, jazz and experimental electronic, has released music of her own, and is featured on releases by local artists Pulselovers and Floodlights.

Dr
Niki Zohdi
Niki Zohdi is a Blackburn-born composer and tenor.
He recently completed a practice PhD in composition at the University of Leeds supervised by Mic Spencer and Martin Iddon where he explored concepts of distance, combination, fusion and fission in his music, as well as his relationship to early Renaissance music.
Niki has also studied composition with Roger Redgate, Chaya Czernowin and Pierluigi Billone.
His music has been performed, workshopped and recorded in the UK and Europe by Ensemble Achrome, Ensemble Pro Victoria and Inštitut .abeceda, and solo performers such as Carlos Cordeiro, Mauricio Galeano and Rolf Hind.
As a singer, Niki is a tenor in the professional chamber choirs Borealis and Luminatus as well in the choir of Sheffield Cathedral. He is also a founding member of the vocal ensemble, Vivify. He has previously been choral scholar at Blackburn Cathedral and has sung with several church choirs in London.
Niki has premiered contemporary operas by Alastair White and sings as an oratorio soloist across the UK.

Elena Roxana Hinchcliffe
Roxi is a graduate of operatic singing from the Leeds Conservatoire. She gained a 1st class Degree in her undergraduate studies followed by a Distinction in her Postgraduate studies under the tutelage of Dr. Adriana Festeu (Royal Academy of Music, London), Carolyn Hargreaves and Geraldine Cassidy.
Roxi has performed recitals across the UK and internationally. Some of her notable engagements have included performances at Sounds like this Festival supported by Arts Council England where in 2018 she got selected to be part in Bizet: Carmen ACT1 - Chorus of Cigarette- girls: “La cloche a sonne” in the opera production named Paradise Club. In 2019 she made her debut as Armelinde in the Earth Odyssey Opera.
During her time at the Leeds Conservatoire Roxi was invited to perform in various masterclasses with some of the worlds leading opera specialists such as mezzo-soprano Sally Burgess. Most notably in 2019 she was invited to perform at the inauguration of a long-standing partnership between Leeds conservatoire and Opera North.
Aside from performing and researching, Roxi is a keen educator and in 2019 she began teaching opera, pop, musical theatre and gospel music. Roxi also enjoys planning recitals and getting involved in community projects, working closely with local schools where she offers 1-1 tuition in classical singing to young adults with special needs.
Matthew Thomas Palmer
Matthew is originally from Doncaster and started playing piano at a very early age.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Music (with Honours) from the York University where his studies commenced in 2013.
Matthew has performed at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and a sold out Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall where he played Schubert's Impromptu in G-flat Major.
Since graduating Matthew has taught piano at Ranby House School and continues to teach at Hill House School (Doncaster) and Bootham Junior School (York).
Matthew still performs regularly and is highly passionate about encouraging the next generation of musicians.
